First, I've been using Dr. Bronner's for years and love it. I always buy it in a gallon size or quart size in the plastic bottles. Delivery times were long for the plastic bottles, so I ordered this variety. Suffice to say, it's the same product. I just don't 'get' it. It's being sold as less packaging and saving the environment, but is it really? I've reused the quart size plastic bottles before to fill from a gallon size and was okay with that. The thing is that the plastic bottles, especially the lids, break and wear over time so you need to replace them. It's a limited time for refilling. Now I look at this new packaging in a milk carton and it seems silly because the paper carton is coated with wax inside and out effectively plasticizing it. Doesn't seem recyclable and you certainly can't reuse a milk carton for anything like you can a plastic bottle. It's meant to pour into the plastic bottle that comes with it, but in shipping the cap broke on the plastic bottle and the milk carton leaked from the top and became coagulated with soap. I'm not a fan of changing what isn't broken. I won't order it if I can find the original packaging in a reasonable delivery window. It just seems like a 'save the planet' gimmick to increase sales. You can repeat the gimmick over and over, but that doesn't make it true. They're counting on indoctrinating people who believe everything they are told. Anyone with half a brain could see right through it. It's kind of disappointing for Dr. Bronner's products. Suffice to say I 'm not impressed with the packaging, though the product is excellent.Refresh Your Routine with Peppermint Soap
In sum, Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Liquid Soap stands out for its commitment to quality and sustainability. Users appreciate its versatility and environmentally-friendly formulation, while the positive reviews highlight its numerous uses and refreshing fragrance. However, some critiques regarding the packaging choice suggest that not all buyers are convinced by the new eco-conscious approach. Ultimately, for those prioritizing organic ingredients and ethical practices in their cleaning products, Dr. Bronner's offers a compelling option that aligns with a greener lifestyle.
