This castor oil blend is cold pressed, which is the only way to preserve the natural fatty acids that are so beneficial for skin and hair. This blend is so unique including rosemary, grapefruit and peppermint oils which are all known to invigorate hair growth. Having this blend already done for me makes it so easy and convenient to have this on my bathroom countertop and use daily. I have fine curly hair and many times I like to blow it out smooth. This castor oil does not weigh my hair down as I use it sparingly and carefully. I take a few drops and warm on my fingertips and massage into my scalp. Castor Oil by Essentially Kate, manufactured in India for Troy Botanical. Things to like about this for me are: appreciate it comes with a pump dispenser (not shown in my photo), the dark glass bottle, it is Hexane free, 16oz for $20 is a good price I think. The only thing I do not like is the fragrance. I use Castor oil a lot and this smells smokier that most. I do not like that so I cannot use but I am very sensitive to smell and this might not bother most people.
